Information Day for Carers

This session will give you the information you need to Care with Confidence. Over the day, we will cover:
·        What help Social Work can offer.
·        Aids and adaptations that make your loved one’s life easier.
·        Information on benefits for carers
·        Changing Relationships.
There will also be a chance to talk to other carers as nobody understands like someone who has been through it themselves.

Places are limited so please book early.

Expert Carer Training for

Tuesdays 26^th February & 4^th March

10.00am – 3pm

A two day Expert Carer Training Course to support carers to look after an older person in the community and lessen the risk of them being admitted to hospital.

The course covered topics like Safe Moving and Handling, Preventing Falls, Getting Respite and information on available Local Services and how to access these services.
