·        Are you over 60?
·        Would you like to check if you are receiving all the money and benefits you are entitled to?

Carers of East Lothian in partnership with the Association of Day Centres has secured funding from  the Fairer East Lothian Fund to support people, over 60 living in East Lothian, to maximise their income.
We will be running drop in sessions in local day centres and community based resources, and will also be able to offer home visits to check you are getting all income/allowances you are entitled to. We will also be able to offer support with completing the appropriate forms.
Information and advice will be available on welfare benefits including:
·         Pension Credit
·         Attendance Allowance
·         Carers Allowance
·         Housing benefit
·         Council Tax benefits advice

As well as information and direct support with completing claim forms, we can also make referrals to other services.
We can give you advice over the phone or visit you at home to support you in checking your benefit entitlement along with supporting you with completing application forms.
