Would you like to feel more confident about helping someone at risk of suicide?
CoEL are working in collaboration with Changes to offer a crisis handling awareness training session for carers. The session aims to give you the knowledge to help someone who is thinking about killing themselves/ having thoughts of suicide. We will also have the opportunity to think about how we can look after ourselves to avoid 'burn out'.
This session is suitable if you are caring for an adult or a child.
If you would like to attend this session, please contact us on 01316650135 or centre@coel.org.uk to request a space.

This was a really well run session today. It was very tough, which was to be expected. But I knew we were being looked after too... more time for questions and discussion would have been great.

The paramount issue for carers I got today was self care and self compassion, which COEL enables.

I liked Brian's 🐘 elephant.  👍🏼🙂

Thank COEL.
