30 year anniversary celebrations CoEL
As you may have heard, we are celebrating our 30th anniversary this year at Carers of East Lothian.
To mark this really special milestone, we are hosting a variety of events throughout the year. Our Carer Support Groups are opening their doors to guests to be part of the celebrations. We are delighted to announce some of the events that will be happening through the year. Please see details on the image. As you will see some details are to be confirmed as the events are finalised.
Bookings will open for each of the events close to when they are running and we will announce each of the events on our social media, our website and via our mailing list. Our carer support workers will also inform carers they are working with.
Please see the poster for specific events happening on each of the dates, but the programme will include:
- A trip to the Botanic Gardens
- An afternoon tea
- A history talk
- A talk on mental health from a consultant psychiatrist
- An archery session
- A poetry session on the theme of ‘pearl’
- An art session on the theme of ‘pearl’
- A wellbeing event
- A celebration for our volunteers
