
Relaxation, heartfulness meditation and silent walk

A gentle 15 minute walk in companionable silence to a area of the woodland where we will sit down and be led in a guided relaxation session followed a meditation before walking back to our starting point.
This experience has been described by people attending as effective for reducing feelings of stress and anxiety and can help you to feel more at peace and with a greater sense of well-being. Some participants have reported a better sleep the night after one of these sessions. You will also learn about heartfulness meditation.
Who: Led by Jill Alexander, Heartfulness Mediation facilitator and Gifford Community Woodland volunteer and supported by Julie Oswald, Carer Support Worker, Carers of East Lothian.
