Walk with a Countryside Ranger

A walk for carers with Countryside Ranger Richard English and CoEL Carer Support Worker Julie Oswald in the beautiful surroundings of Papple, followed by delicious refreshments at Eve’s Court, Papple Steading.

Date: Tuesday 9th June

Session start and end time: Meet at 10.15am for a 10.30 departure for walk. 1pm finish.

Meeting point: Car park, Papple Steading, Haddington, EH41 4QD

The route will involve walking on woodland tracks with uneven ground and mud, so suitable footwear will need to be worn.

This event will be a lovely break from day to day caring responsibilities. We will ensure we walk at a pace so that everyone is included and we will stop to look at plants, but participants need to be comfortable being on their feet/walking for 1.5 to 2 hours.
