Financial Insecurity Fund

At Carers of East Lothian (CoEL) we know that many carers are facing increased costs and additional financial pressure at the moment. That’s why, with funding from East Lothian Health & Social Care Partnership, CoEL is making available grants of up to £100* to help those carers who are facing financial insecurity. If you are struggling to pay essential bills or buy food, please contact us on 0131 665 0135 or at centre@coel.org.uk to request a call from our welfare rights worker Lisa McIlwraith.

*Higher awards may be made in exceptional circumstances.

Our Welfare Rights Coordinator will go through a short application form with you over the phone and discuss any other financial support you may be entitled to at the same time.

Please apply as soon as possible. The fund will close once all monies have been spent.
