On Tuesday 4th April, CoEL joined East Lothian Council’s Young Carers’ Service for an incredible intergenerational experience. Over 60 carers of all ages trekked with alpacas and enjoyed a lovely picnic together in the beautiful surroundings of the John Muir Alpaca’s tipis.
The event was a wonderful opportunity to build connections with other carers in East Lothian and take a break from caring responsibilities, while spending time walking and feeding an alpaca. There were so many smiles!
