Our next legal advice clinic for carers with Solicitors for Older People in Scotland (SOPS) will take place on Thursday 25th November from 1:30 pm. The solicitor covering the clinic is Kerry Lees. This will be the last clinic of the year.
The clinic is open to ALL carers, regardless of age, including parent carers.
The clinic offers carers 30-minute telephone appointments for FREE legal advice on the following issues:
– Guardianship (Adults with Incapacity)
– Advanced Directives
– Wills
Feedback on the clinic from carers has been very positive. Every carer who has attended and completed an evaluation form found the conversation with the solicitor helpful in understanding their options and would recommend the clinic to other carers. One carer also commented: “It was so helpful to have access to a free service and such good advice. Thank you for offering this service.”
