Our next legal advice clinic for carers with Solicitors for Older People in Scotland (SOPS) will take place on Thursday 30th September from 1:30 pm. The solicitor covering the clinic is Martin Monaghan.
The clinic is open to ALL carers, regardless of age, including parent carers.
The clinic offers carers 30-minute telephone appointments for FREE legal advice on the following issues:
- Guardianship (Adults with Incapacity)
- Advanced Directives
- Wills

Martin Monaghan is a Partner with the Caesar and Howie Law Group, who are founder members of SOPS. Martin has been granted Accredited Specialist status by the Law Society of Scotland for his expertise in Family Law and Incapacity and Mental Disability Law. He also has an extensive knowledge of Scottish Civil Legal Aid. Martin has a particular interest in Powers of Attorney and Guardianships.
Martin is a graduate of the University of Strathclyde. He hails from Cumbernauld and now lives in Glasgow.
