Loneliness and Isolation

We know that caring can be an isolating experience – and that Christmas can be a lonely time.

If you need a listening ear, please pick up the phone to a friend, family member, neighbour, peer or service provider or connect online to others in a similar situation. We all need – and deserve – a network of support.

Carers UK Forum

The Carers UK Forum is an online community of carers available to Carers UK members 24 hours a day, 365 days a year where you can share experiences, ask questions or simply let off some steam.

Befriending Networks

If you or someone you know is lonely, Befriending Networks has a directory of organisations that may be able to help with a Befriending Service, as well as a list of those offering helplines if you need a listening ear.
