Claire’s role is to support, supervise and line manage the Carer Support Team and provide direct support to carers.
Kirsty supervises the administration team at Carers of East Lothian. Her role includes strategic and operational responsibilities, and she is part of the management team at CoEL, providing support to the Deputy Chief Executive and the Chief Executive in relation to finance, data management and legal requirements.
Sharon works with Kirsty on administrative duties to help the charity to run smoothly. She also provides a warm welcome to carers visiting or contacting the organisation.
Rowena identifies supports and signposts unpaid carers in a ward setting at East Lothian Community Hospital in Haddington, ensuring carers are well placed to act as equal partners in care. Lydia oversees the counselling service, supporting volunteers and managing carer’s journey through the service, alongside holding a small client caseload.
Claire supports carers throughout the county who are caring for someone with significant mental health problems.
Diane’s focus is on supporting unpaid carers to access person centred information, advice and support with a specific focus on improving financial wellbeing. Diane both directly supports carers with these issues and acts as a resource for the rest of the Carer Support Team and others.
Gemma coordinates communications for CoEL and supports carers to have their voices heard in consultation, local and national service development and planning. Gemma coordinates a programme of events, workshops and training for carers.
Linda is our Building Better Breaks Coordinator. Through the project ‘Time For Me’, she will help you to decide what break would best meet your needs and support you through the process.
