A message from CEO Jess Wade

We know that it has been a really tough time for carers over the last two years. Whilst the pandemic is far from over, we know that restrictions are easing and want to keep you up to date on our approach:

  • CoEL are now offering face-to-face groups again, including our peer support groups and Just Sing!, and we are also offering online alternatives.
  • Face-to-face counselling will now be an option, as well as online
  • Home visits can be arranged by appointment
  • Our team will continue to blend home and office working

We hope to make changes to our office soon to make it a more welcoming place for carers to come and see us. At present, visits are by appointment only.

Please like or follow our Facebook page, check our website regularly, or subscribe to our e-bulletins to keep up to date with all our news and information for carers.

We understand that for some people, whilst restrictions are easing, concerns about the virus, being at higher risk, or having caring responsibilities, may mean that you would prefer not to make use of face to face support, so we aim to continue to offer all our services online and via the telephone too.

Please continue to tell us what you need so we can make sure we are offering the right support, in the right way, for you.

If you have any questions or concerns about accessing our services, please contact us on 0131 665 0135 or at centre@coel.org.uk.
