This month a carer who works for a major bank spoke to our online peer support group about financial scams. Here are her top tips for carers:
- If you are unsure about anything, remember to pause, “Take 5” and “if in doubt do nowt.”
- For banking scams Dial 159 – all UK banks are covered by this number
- Report scams ASAP! – phone 159 or contact Action Fraud on 0800 123 2040
