We’ll meet for morning coffee or tea in the Old Aberlady Inn, have a guided walk around the village and Gosford Estate with a countryside ranger, followed by lunch. This is a great chance to meet other people who are caring for someone, get some fresh air, learn about local plants and wildlife and be treated to a meal out!
The day out will begin at 10.30am and will finish at approximately 2.30pm. This outing is for unpaid carers and is free of charge. The walk will take about one and a half hours and will be at a pace to suit the group. Suitable walking shoes are required.
Places are limited to 20 carers and must be booked in advance. Assistance with arranging a sitter for the person you care for is available.
Any special dietary requirements can be catered for – just let us know at the time of booking.
