Staff from Carers of East Lothian attended journalist and broadcaster Sally Magnusson’s book event at Haddington Town Hall recently.  Sally’s late mother had Dementia and her book ‘Where Memories Go’ is described as ‘An inspiring memoir of a family’s love for a mother- and a searing manifesto for social change’. Since her mother’s death, Sally has gone on to establish a charity, Playlist for Life (www.playlistforlife.org.uk), aimed at encouraging access for every person with dementia to a playlist of personally meaningful music from their past life.
