Venturing Out Carers Adventure Wellbeing Group – Programme of Activities

Claire Mackenzie says about the group “This is a space where people really get what it means to be a carer. People do not need to come and speak about what is happening in life, with many group members reporting that simply taking part alongside others that they know “get it” is a comfort and very powerful for them. What Venturing Out hoped would happen is that the new connections that would grow outside of the group. Some group members now meet away from the group to walk and cycle and, rather impressively, have recently completed another Munro together!”
