An introduction to what brings me joy

“Whilst having a conversation with a colleague she noticed that my face lit up when I talked about a particular topic,” explains carer support worker Mags Bryan, “And so the idea of a daily invitation to share what brings us joy to mark Carers Week 2020 was born.”

From Monday 8th to Friday 12th June members of the Carers of East Lothian team will share an image with a short explanation on the theme of  “what brings me joy” on this page.

We hope carers will feel inspired by our daily posts to reflect on what makes their own hearts sing. We’d be delighted and encouraged to hear from you about what brings you joy, too.

Please share your own images or stories by posting on our Facebook page or emailing kirsteen@coel.org.uk. If you need any help with sharing a comment or photo electronically, please call us on 0131 665 0135.

And if you enjoy the “what brings me joy” series, please do let us know! We look forward to hearing from you.
