Would a new online group for carers interest you?

We are looking to expand the group-based options we offer to carers. Please let us know if you would be interested in a NEW online only support group for unpaid carers living anywhere in East Lothian by answering the following short survey (it takes about 2 minutes):

New Online Support Group Survey

The aim of the group would be to offer a safe space for carers to connect and share information with each other without having to travel to a central venue (which isn’t possible at present anyway!).

The group would be delivered via Zoom, a piece of free video calling software that we can support you to use if necessary. However, you would need an internet connected device with a camera such as a smartphone, tablet or laptop to participate.

Thank you for taking the time to share your views with us – they will shape what we do!

Please note a new group would NOT replace our existing support groups but run alongside them. If you would like information about our existing support groups for parent carers, mental health carers or carers living in particular areas of the county, please call us on 0131 665 0135.
